Partners Meeting in Elblag
On 26th July, a meeting took place in Elblag. The meeting was attended by: Grażyna Kluge- Deputy Mayor of the City of Elbląg, Leszek Sarnowski- Head of the Culture Department of Elbląg City Hall, Hanna Skorbotum- Chairperson of Elbląg Tourist Cluster, Mateusz Milanowski- Elbląg Tourist Cluster, Regina Czymbor- the Office of the Marshal of Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship, rev. Andrzej Kilanowski- the Seminary of Elbląg Diocese, Alicja Zajączkowska- Deputy Mayor of Lębork, Ryszard Wenta- Deputy Starost of Lębork County and Tadeusz Krawczyk- tour guide and signposting specialist.
The meeting was devoted to the presentation of the aims of our Project. The idea and purpose of getting involved in the creation of the European network of the Ways of St James in Pomerania and Poland were explained. The participants talked over current experiences and discussed a possible way of signposting the route of the Way from Szczecin to Elbląg.
The representatives of Elbląg expressed their willingness to cooperate and engage in realization of the goals of the Project in the area of Mazury and Elblęg, i.e. from Elbląg via Tolkmicko and Frombork to Braniewo.
