28th July 2013 - opening of the Pomeranian Way of St. James
Between 25th and 28th July this year Polish Pilgrimage of St. James from Gdańsk to Lębork will take place. About 60 walking and cycling pilgrims will go along sections of the Way of Gdańsk, Kartuzy and Sierakowice as well as two sections of the Way of Lębork.
On Sunday, 28th July an official opening of the Pomeranian Way of St. James will take place. A solemn indulgence High Mass will take place at 10:00 in the Sanctuary of St. James in Lębork. Feel invited to take part in the Opening of the Pomeranian Way of St. James just after the Mass, at 11:15 which will take place on the parking lot in front of the Sanctuary. Opening of the Way will be one of numerous events of Lębork James’s Days.
Polish Pilgrimage of St. James is organized by Local Branch of PTTK in Słupsk, whereas its patronage is taken by the Marshal Office of the Pomeranian Province, Town Hall in Lębork and District Starosty in Lębork.
