First meeting promoting the Pomeranian Way of St. James held
The meeting took place on Thursday, 26th June 2014 in the Parish House of the Elevation of Holy Cross Church in Koszalin. Lectures given to the invited guests included such issues as:
need for preserving and maintaining the Pomeranian Way of St. James as well as supporting “Camino pilgrims” (Ryszard Wenta, Deputy Staroste of Lębork)
“Pilgrimage along the route of <<the sacred hills of Pomerania>> as an example of how the Camino route may be used in the region” (Krystyna Bastowska, member of the Chapter of the Pomeranian Way of St. James).
“Spanish Camino to the tomb of the Saint” (Rev. Tadeusz Kanthak, parish-priest of St. Joseph Craftsman Parish in Koszalin)
„Camino de Santiago – The route that changes life” (Alicja Górska, Director of Radio Plus Koszalin)
“Culture and customs of Northern Spain (Magdalena Szubstarska, Principal of Franciscan language school in Koszalin).
After the lectures, members of the meeting listened to concert of Spanish music played by Anna Nowicka and Dariusz Schmidt.
