Invitation for the meeting
Meeting which is going to take place on 11th September 2014 in the cathedral room (located above the bookshop) at James the Apostle Parish in Szczecin will be focused on promotion of travelling along the routes of St. James and Szczecin Club of Friends of the Pomeranian Way of St. James is going to be founded then; the meeting starts at 4:30 p.m.
Self-Government of Lębork District and West-Pomeranian Province that organize the meeting invite Camino travellers and everyone who is interested in the concept of this pilgrimage and tourist route which appears to be a kind of European phenomenon; lively discussion on activities supporting the Way is also anticipated.
Some guests including Rev. Paweł Ostrowski, Tomasz Duda, PhD as well as Mrs Lidia Lalka-Szawiel and Mr Czesław Szawiel are going to share their personal experience of pilgrimages to Camino.
The meeting will be followed by a mini-concert on guitar and some light refreshments will be served. The admission is free.

4:30 p.m. greeting the members – Rev. Jan Kazieczko, Prelate, parish priest and host of the site;
4:45 p.m. „Pomeranian Way of St. James - need for its preserving and maintaining as well as supporting “Camino pilgrims” - Ryszard Wenta, Deputy Starost of Lębork;
5:05 p.m. Implementation of RECReate project in West Pomeranian Province - Bożena Wołowczyk, Inspector of the Department for Tourism, Economy and Promotion at the Marshal Office of West Pomeranian Province;
5:25 p.m. Pilgrimage along the Pomeranian Way of St. James in West Pomeranian Province - Tomasz Duda, PhD;
5:45 p.m. Coffee break
6:10 p.m. Walking the pilgrimage along the Pomeranian Way of St. James in Poland and Germany - Rev. Paweł Ostrowski, President of the Management Board of “Szczecińska” Foundation;
6:30 p.m. Camino – Route for everyone – Lidia Lalak-Szawiel and Czesław Szawiel- Camino pilgrims;
6:50 p.m. Mini-concert of Spanish music.
